I am sure you all are come across this situation sometimes when you open your Microsoft word or Power Point you are getting the pop up as your Microsoft office Product Activation Failed. Here I am providing the few steps which you need to follow to resolved this issues.
- Close all Microsoft Office apps like Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.
- Press Windows key + S and search for This PC.
- Select the option This PC in the search result.
- Go to Local Disk C on your PC.
- Here you can see two Program Files folders.
- Depending on your Office installation, go to the following location for Program Files
- C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office16 OR
- C:\Program Files\Common Files\microsoft shared\OfficeSoftwareProtectionPlatform
- Once you have located the file, just Right-click on the OSPPREARM.exe file and select Run as administrator. Click on Yes if you are prompted by UAC.
- You can also search for OSPPREARM.exe in your C drive.
- Now open the Microsoft Office app and check whether the error is fixed.
