WhatsApp enabled Payments based on UPI service live in India


After BHIM, Google TEZ, Phone Pe, Paytm etc. then Whatsapp has has launched UPI based payment. He has started testing UPI-based payments in India. The new feature is available for select WhatsApp beta version users. This features helps to send and receive money using the Indian government's Unified Payments Interface (UPI) standard. This feature is available on the selected WhatsApp version of Android.

Both iOS and Android, WhatsApp are currently shows the UPI based payment feature. Some of the listed banks include HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, ICIC Bank, Airtel’s Payments Bank , and State Bank of India and Other Bank etc. 




According to report whatsapp does not allowing users to link their accounts. If you have an account with any of the banks listed and then you have create a UPI login ID and start using the payment method. WhatsApp was said that this service is started within in the a month,because WhatsApp's over 200 million monthly active users in India which can benefit from the new digital payment service to all user.

You can then select the listed bank, after that select your bank account details and connect with UPI. After selection of bank then you will be asked to create an authentication pin if you have not yet used the UPI payments. Additionally, you will have to create a UPI account through the UPI app.

WhatsApp is completly a UPI-based payments since July 2017. Ever since UPI was announced by the government of india, like Samsung,Phone Pe,Freecharge, Zomato, Google, and, now, WhatsApp have been updated this features.
